OBJECTIVE


Fortify commnunicative abilities in english to permit stablish daily  contexts of communication between students, teachers and community in general.

ARE YOU READY TO MAKE IT?


1. In this first activity students are going to make a challenge through a video, where they have to sing a short paragraph of a song  to their mother in english, they must recreate the place or space using their imagination, you can use a guitar to liven up the moment. Remember it is for your mother, the most wonderful human being on earth, try to be very creative.

2. In the second activity you are going to make a short reading from your house, you can select the book you want to read, the reading must be clear, with good entonation, the place must be comfortable and very well organized with different elements to show a good environment of reading as a picnic 

3. in the third activity you are going to make a cartoon in english to reflecting  laboral´s life of people in Colombia, at this time of crisis.

4. In the fourth activity, students must make a mock up about three main topics: wonders of world, advanced technology, rivers of world, special environments and awasome places in the world.

I CHALLLENGE YOU TO OPEN YOUR MIND


1. You have to make a video of  one or two minutes expressing a poem to your mother in english, you can use a guitar or music to liven up the moment, also recreate the space or place, you must be very imaginative, dreamy, and use a good intonation.

2. To make a collage about teacher´s day, with an special message of support and gratitude.

3. To make a very ilustrative commercial about a product you want offer to people for example a cream, a shampoo, a soap, a fragance, a special cover against viruses or diseases.

4. To organize a word picnic at home using differente books and tell others about what book are you reading and what did you learn about it.

ELEVENTH GRADE


OBJECTIVE


To develop communicative abilities in english to promote in students good and adequate use of english language in daily and social contexts.

Swift Pizza and Sandwich House


 Today we have the pleasure of showing you the best letter written by our customer Mark. He wins £25 for writing about us this week. He is so happy with the orders at Swift Pizza and Sandwich House that he wants to declare a holiday to celebrate his experience here: “Happy burger day and Merry Sandwichmas to everyone!” he wrote.

 Wednesday May 18, 2011. One typical day I was too tired after working all day long to cook for myself, and I was very hungry. I really wanted something to eat, so I decided to find a burger.

 I ordered a half-pound burger and a lamb and chicken sandwich. I also made some special orders for extra cheese and vegetables.

Food arrived very fast (less than twenty minutes) and was hot and fresh. The burger was delicious, and left me wanting more - fortunately I had the sandwich left. It felt as if it had been cut just a minute before I opened it - juicy, fresh, and great.

 Every single special request I made was completely satisfied, 100%! And the best thing was that all of the above and some drinks cost me ONLY 10 dollars! If that doesn't say value for money, I don't know what does.

It certainly feels great to find new excellent food delivery companies for whenever you don't feel like cooking yourself.

I recently had a sad experience with my usual take away restaurant, so I decided to change to something else - and on my first try I got what I wanted! Order now from Swift Pizza and Sandwich House.
