IN THE NEWS: NEW EARTH FOUND?

Astronomers have announced that they have ( 1 ) a planet that likely exists in a temperature range where life could exist.

The new planet seen by a very powerful NASA ( 2 ) is the most Earth-like yet found. Named “Kepler -438b”, it orbits a distant star in the constellation of Lyra and thought to have a landscape ( 3 ) to Earth.

The planet is one of ( 4 ) known as Goldilocks planets- small planets which fall within stars’ habitable zones, specifically for planets close to the size of ours.

The more these type of planets scientists find, the higher the ( 5 ) we will find alien life.

TENGO UNA VIDA POR DELANTE

 

Hugo, destacado por su inteligencia y liderazgo, era aceptado plenamente por los compañeros y compañeras. Era simpático y de muy buen aspecto físico. Obtenía las mejores notas de su promoción.

En aquel encuentro, nos hablaron de la necesidad de vivir una intensa vida cristiana para poder conducir a los amigos por el mismo camino y así cambiar la sociedad.

Yo era uno de los organizadores de ese evento y el objeto era allegar lideres que se unieran a nuestra causa.

Al final del cursillo quise comprometer a Hugo y le dije que quería charlar seriamente con él. Este me respondió: mañana mismo charlaremos a las 11:00 a.m. en la cafetería de la universidad.

Llegue puntual a la cita convenida, Hugo ya estaba allí esperándome. Me mando sentar, me miro con ojos de pillo y me dijo: “ya sé de que quieres hablarme”. En la reunión nos hablaron de ideales nobles y de grandes renuncias en beneficio de los demás. Estoy de acuerdo señalo, pero ya lo he pensado: me dedicare a la buena vida cinco años, quiero viajar y ganar mucho dinero.

Después, me entregare a servir a los demás, te pido que en este lapso de tiempo no me menciones estas cosas, ni volvamos a hablar más. Pagamos el café y nos despedimos.

No volví a ver a Hugo ese año porque llego el final de clases y salimos a vacaciones de Diciembre, los dos nos fuimos de la ciudad.

En enero regrese y llame a mi amigo para desearle un feliz año. Una voz de mamá brava me respondió al teléfono.

2.     2. Elabora un cuento corto que refleje temas como: el noviazgo, vivir con responsabilidad, la familia, la juventud, el trabajo en equipo, la vida y sus desafíos.

 

3.     Construye una poesía o poema que tenga que ver con el amor y la dependencia.

 

4.    4.  Elabora un mapa conceptual sobre la juventud, cosas positivas que posee, cosas negativas, cosas por potenciar y cosas por mejorar.

- Escribe algunas actitudes de los jóvenes para con los adultos.

-       Qué concepto tienen los adultos de la comunidad sobre los jóvenes? (Indaga)

-       Que consecuencias trae para la sociedad, la poca atención que se le brinda a la juventud?.

6.    6.  Realiza un Disco foro. Busca una canción que tenga que ver con la juventud, luego selecciona tres frases que te hayan llamado la atención, las escribes y luego las explicas.

 

7.     Dibuja un arcoíris de sueños con sus colores, donde utilices palabras que se relacionen con el amor y el noviazgo.

 

8.     Construye un caligrama que hable del amor sincero entre las personas, recuerda que este se hace a base de letras, armando una figura.

 

 

9.     Con la palabra dependencia y materialismo realiza un acróstico.

 

10.  Elabora un gráfico o dibujo que represente el aprovechamiento del tiempo libre desde el descanso, el deporte, la recreación, la convivencia familiar, la practica de habilidades manuales, de actividades culturales y la lectura.

       Makes an oral presentation about fast fashion  and its effects on the community using defined expressions.

       Assumes a critical position about academic and social situations, valuing and respecting the opinion of others.

       Talk about things that have been discovered or invented and see how inventions improve our lives.

ACTIVITIES

                          

1.     Perform a fashion show where you involve your family, you must be the presenter, it should be included: sportswear, gala, casual, to sleep and beach. Please, take pictures about this special event or make a short video

2.     Write a short argumentative text about the importance of fashion in the world. (ten lines).

3.     Make questions to different people about what kind of clothing they prefer or wear and justify your ideas. Example: what kind of clothing is your favorite and why? (Qué clase de vestuario es tu favorito y porqué? My prefer clothing is jeans because it permit I feel free and casual. Do you like skirts? (Te gustan las faldas?, do you wear scarfs in cold days? (Usas bufanda en dias frios? Etc. (Maximum ten questions).

5.     Observa el cuadro de la moda, (the fashion show)  en el primer punto debes ubicar en el espacio el numero que corresponda a cada prenda de vestir, en el punto dos del mismo cuadro, debes de acuerdo con la descripción ubicar la prenda de vestir en inglés y teniendo en cuenta el numero de letras, el primer punto te puede servir como referente.

La fortaleza es una virtud que hace enfrentar la realidad, dándole a la persona herramientas para superar la adversidad sin detenerse en la lucha y obtener la victoria, una vez puestos en acción los recursos de que dispone. Es afrontar sin cobardía el reto de perfeccionarse humana e interiormente sin desaliento, aceptando el poder interno de que esta dotado, superando los miedos, angustias, mediocridades, sin ceder al desánimo.

La fortaleza no consiste en no tener temor a nada ni a nadie sino en no ceder al miedo cuando se trata de luchar por el respeto de los valores. La debilidad es la enemiga de la fortaleza.

El ser poderoso y energético no tiene que ver con la virtud humana de la fortaleza, por el contrario esta consiste en actuar prudentemente; una persona fuerte es la que sabe gobernar su vida con eficacia y valor.

La persona con fortaleza corre riesgos sin garantía de que alcanzará la meta, se lanza positivamente y con la confianza suficiente en asimismo y en el objetivo.
